Ava Douglas and Freya Weatherston, Yr 11 Gillotts pupils, are hosting a Quiz Night on Friday 2^nd October at 7pm at Shiplake Memorial Hall. They are raising funds for their World Challenge trip to Cambodia in July 2027. They will be part of a volunteer project and will work alongside local communities to support and improve young people's educational facilities and employment prospects whilst also seeing firsthand the challenges and poverty that many families face, Please join us.

The 2026/27 season of the Local History Group will begin on Thursday 8^th October at 2pm in the clubhouse at Shiplake Bowling Club (Memorial Fields). There will be a further five meetings on the second Thursday of the months of November,  December, January, February  and March  - same time, same venue.
