Come and Find Out – Information & Free Training for the Wargrave & Shiplake Regatta

All are welcome this Sunday, any time between 1.00 pm and 4.00 pm, to Wargrave Boating Club to discover what the Wargrave & Shiplake Regatta is all about? 

Whether you're a family or an adult who's new to the village, or you've lived here for years but have never taken part, you'll be made very welcome. Dinghies, skiffs, punts and canoes will all be available to try, with experienced club members on hand to offer free coaching for the many events featured at the annual Regatta. 

This year’s Regatta takes place on 7th & 8th August on the beautiful stretch of the River Thames between Bushnell Marine and the St George & Dragon riverside pub in Wargrave.  

If you're coming from Shiplake, simply make your way to the field opposite Wargrave Boating Club, where a free boat taxi will ferry you across to the training session. 

Come along, have a go and discover why generations of local families have enjoyed taking part.  We hope to see you on Sunday!
