lost pigeon?

I am concerned about a very friendly pigeon (or rock dove as my RSPB bird book tells me) who has visited us every day this week. The reason for my concern is that he has a square yellow tag on one of his legs and a red and a green band on his other one which makes me think he belongs to someone. If he is yours can you let me know so you can take him home where I am sure he will be happier

There is a very useful Facebook group which I used recently to successfully reunite a racing pigeon with its owner from Shinfield.  It is called 'Found & Lost Racing/ Fancy Pigeons  UK'.  (The group name does have these incorrect spacings in it!)
