April & May Events at The Plough Shiplake

Dear Shiplake Community,

We’d like to wish Tim & Greg and the whole team a big Congratulations! on the re-opening of the The Baskerville. We know how much effort has gone into it and we wish them every success. Independent pubs, restaurants, businesses in general really depend on the support of the local community. We know we speak for all of the Shiplake businesses when we say thank you for the support!

 TABLE 10 LUNCH CLUB

At The Plough, our Table 10 Lunch Club has had a little makeover. From April, Lunch Club will include special guests, providing expert advice and fun insights into their area of specialism.

Wednesday 17^th April from 12:30pm: Janet & Justine, from WeWeed, a wonderful Henley based gardening collective that provides companion gardeners will be providing brilliant gardening tips, as well as ways you can save money on your gardening maintenance.

Thursday 16^th May from 12:30pm: Victoria Dunn, from ThamesPhysio will share advice on maintaining good posture and mobility, as well as exercise and diet advice for managing arthritis.

In celebration of International Cocktail Day, join us as everyone’s favourite bartender, Fernando Teixeira, hosts the ultimate cocktail masterclass.  Enjoy Fernando’s passion for mixology, as he explains tricks and techniques for making the perfect cocktail. Class includes two premium spirit cocktails, a selection of snacks, surprise giftbag and 10% off your meal (if you stay for supper).
