Recommendations for water softeners

Hi, can anyone recommend a brand/model of water softener and/or any ones to avoid.

Can definitely recommend the Harveys Crown non electric water softener. Was recommended to us by an engineer who repairs water softeners because they are v reliable. The block salt is convenient and can be delivered from Steepal bathrooms or harringtons in Reading.

Hi Charles, We've had something of an adventure with our water softeners! We're on our third in 9 years and have recently installed one which actually works!!! The company have been b. awful... not replying, not turning up etc etc etc. However, even with the obvious challenge of the hard water we have round here, we've finally cracked it.
