Wyevale Garden Centre

Presumably everyone got a card through the door today about plans for the old garden centre? Business and 49 homes.
Public exhibition next weekend at the site.

Thames Farm and Wyevale are in Harpsden parish and formed part of the Joint Henley Harpsden Neighbourhood Plan. As stated, they were precluded from consideration in the Shiplake Neighbourhood Plan. The Shiplake Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group had no choice in this matter.

But as shiplake has spent a great deal of money fighting Thames Farm it must have some bearing. If the current status had been known about it could have influenced comments on the NP.

Thames Farm and Wyevale are not in the parish of Shiplake and therefore cannot be considered as part of the Neighbourhood Plan.

re: Thames Farm, the rumour is,that actually the High Court has said in a written judgement that there isn't a case to be answered. SODC and Shiplake Parish Council now have a few days to decide whether to press for an open court hearing which would cost more money and become liable to pay Mrs Engbers fees as well, should the judge up hold thier written judgement. No comment on this at the presentation of the NP.

This is only likely to go the same way as Thames Farm which does not seem to be settled yet. If both sites are allowed then this would almost be another village on its own.
